National Pool Partners Grows Texas Operations With Two New Acquisitions
Austin-area O’Neill’s Pools and Longhorn Pool Service Join Premier National Service Company
ORLANDO, Fla. (August 31, 2021) – National Pool Partners (NPP), the nation’s premier multi-regional pool service company, today announced that is has acquired O’Neill’s Pools of Lakeway, Texas and Longhorn Pool Service of Austin, Texas to further expand its footprint in the greater Austin area. Both companies will have their employees and customers join Patriot Pool & Spa, NPP’s local Austin brand and Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies honoree. These acquisitions make Patriot Pool & Spa the largest residential pool service brand in the Austin region.
As a purpose-driven company focused on elevating the pool industry, NPP is attracting interest from the top pool service companies in the country whose owners align with NPP’s vision. Neil and Amy Engelmann, the former co-owners that grew O’Neill’s Pools into a Pool & Spa News Top 50 Service company, chose NPP to help accelerate the business’s growth and cultivate fulfilling career opportunities for its staff. Michael and Tamberly Hurosky, former co-founders of Longhorn Pool Service, chose NPP to continue stewarding the legacy they’ve been building for nearly 40 years.

The Engelmann’s will be joining NPP to continue their work in the pool service industry. Amy Engelmann will be leading NPP’s business development initiatives in the state of Texas, helping companies that are looking for additional capital to supercharge their growth. Neil Engelmann will lead Patriot Pool & Spa’s western team as Branch Manager in Lakeway.

Michael and Tamberly Hurosky sold their pool service and repair business so that they could focus on growing their renovation and construction business. When deciding to sell the service and repair division, the Huroskies wanted to make sure their legacy, people, and customers were in the right hands. Although they had many suitors, Michael Hurosky notes that choosing NPP felt “like a no-brainer” based on its track record of showcasing an unwavering commitment to people and doing what’s best for the customer.
